Perceptant 101 built the VK: What’s your Flavour? interactive application on the VK Facebook page, to drive new fans to ‘like’ the page and encourage interaction with the brand. Fans who share their ideas for a new flavour are entered into a competition that could see them winning a year’s supply of the drink. Interaction is guaranteed through a voting application that enables fans to vote for their favourite flavour suggestion and easily see which flavour is ahead in the vote.
As well as driving engagement between VK and its fans, the campaign is inspiring users to interact with each other by sharing the competition on Facebook and other social networks. So VK can be sure that it’s giving fans the flavour they want, and those fans are happy to spread the word across a range of social media.
